Maintaining Chemical Quality Standards

Merichem® is an ongoing member of the American Chemical Council. As such, we strictly adhere to the Responsible Care® program, along with the initiatives established by the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturer (AFPM). We analyze chemical composition on deliveries, check tanks monthly to further minimize contamination risks, and analyze off-spec chemicals in our own on-site labs regularly.

RideTight® Fluid-Sealing Management

To ensure safety and consistency, Merichem® has implemented VSP Technologies’ RideTight® Fluid-Sealing Management Program for our rail cars. These processes designate the appropriate type and size gasket for all rail cars, verifying proper material and torque for all manway gaskets. Also allowing for operator training, it helps ensure that all manufacturing and application specifications are met.
