Merichem Technologies’ Product Safety Summary: LO-CAT® Catalysts

Merichem Technologies used ACC’s Prioritization Screening Approach to conduct an Initial Screening of its LO-CAT™ Catalyst Products. Data from each product’s GHS SDS was used to complete the Environmental Ranking and Human Health Ranking, then we determined the product’s use pattern (Use), production volume (Tonnage), and whether the product is persistent or bioaccumulative (PB). The sum of the Exposure Rankings (Use + PB + Tonnage) was plotted to the Hazard Rankings to determine the Risk Scale.

Priority Grouping = Hazard + Exposure Ratings Exposure Ranking = Sum (Use + PB + Tonnage)
