CP-500W™ is an architectural spec grade siloxane-silane water repellent that protects porous building materials from water damage, surface staining, and corrosion. CP-500W™ can be used to protect horizontal surfaces as well as vertical surfaces.

CP-500W™ is an architectural spec grade siloxane-silane water repellent that protects porous building materials from water damage, surface staining, and corrosion. CP-500W™ can be used to protect horizontal surfaces as well as vertical surfaces including those with leaks or where extra protection is desired. Examples of applications include:

Pavements
Sidewalks/Plazas
Countertops
Bridges
Parking Decks
Airport Taxiways and Aprons
Piers and Marine Structures
Brick, Stone, Concrete, and Stucco Vertical Structures

Silane Water Repellent Sealer

CP-500W™ also protects surfaces requiring outstanding corrosion resistance and protection from chloride penetration. Treated surfaces will remain protected for 5+ years.

Penetrates and Bonds For Long-Term Protection

CP-500W™ works by penetrating and reacting with the silica in concrete and other building materials in the presence of ultraviolet light and atmospheric moisture. The strong chemical bond formed as a consequence of the reaction imparts hydrophobic properties beneath the surface that prevents water molecules from seeping in, while allowing free migration of water vapors. The bond formed in this process is what allows CP-500W™ to become an integral part of the substrate and provide long-term protection.
