H₂S Removal Solutions

• • Adsorbents (gas treatment):
    Merichem Technologies offers a full line of treatment options, both for sale or lease, using our own adsorbent line of SULFURTRAP^® products. Some of these products will also remove low levels of mercaptans (RSH). This solution is excellent from 0 to 1.5 tons per day of sulfur removed.
  • Liquid Redox (gas treatment): 
    Merichem Technologies offers a technology solution, called LO-CAT^®, to remove H₂S from almost any gas stream. This solution is excellent from 1.5 to 20 tons per day of sulfur removed. This solution, depending on size and requirements, can be sold as a standard or custom designed unit to fit our client’s needs.
  • Liquids Treating:
    Merichem Technologies offers caustic or amine-based solutions, both standard and custom.

Mercaptan Removal Solutions (RSH)
Standard and custom mercaptan removal solutions are available depending on flow rate and composition of the stream being treated.

• • Caustic based mercaptan removal and lower total sulfur:
    We have the perfect solution for removing lighter mercaptans from liquid hydrocarbon streams, specifically LPG, NGL, LNG, and Natural Gas.

  • Caustic based mercaptan sweetening to pass mercaptan specifications affordably without reducing total sulfur:
    We offer units that are perfect for sweetening mercaptans in condensate or light crude streams.

  • Solid catalyst:
    We have a copper based solid catalyst used for the conversion of light mercaptans to disulfide oil in light hydrocarbon streams with smaller flow rates.

Our AMINEX™ technology can also be used as part of a full amine treating system in LNG units to remove amine carry and provide a final polishing step.
