Merichem Technologies is pleased to announce ECOTREAT® has been named a finalist in the Best Catalyst Technology category of the 2026 Gulf Energy Information Excellence Awards.
ECOTREAT is a regenerable catalyst technology for hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) removal that can use produced water as a reagent and produces zero solid waste. The technology was developed to provide oil and gas operators with a sustainable and cost-efficient approach to sour gas treatment.
The Gulf Energy Information Excellence Awards recognize innovation and technological advancement across the energy industry. Winners will be announced during the awards program in October 2026.
