LO-CAT®: Low OPEX, Easy to Operate, Proven Reliable
Our LO-CAT® technology is a proven, proprietary, aqueous chemical-based sulfur-removal system designed to help renewable fuel producers efficiently meet product specifications. Ideal for facilities removing larger quantities of H2S per day, it delivers highly effective H2S removal with low operating costs. The process produces no liquid or hazardous waste streams.

SULFURTRAP®: Long-Lasting, Low-Pressure Drop, Easy Changeout Adsorbents
Merichem Technologies’ SULFURTRAP® adsorbents are a proven, patented, iron-based H2S scavenger designed to help renewable fuel producers meet product specifications reliably. Ideal for small-to-mid scale facilities, SULFURTRAP® delivers long bed life, low pressure drop, and easy cleanouts with no bridging, helping operators increase process efficiency, minimize downtime, and maintain consistent performance.

Caustic Extraction of Sulfur
Since 1980, the Merichem Technologies’ AMINEX and THIOLEX systems has offered a flexible alternative for the extraction of H2S and other acid gasses, reducing OPEX, CAPEX. Engineered for fast phase separation, minimal carryover and flexible operation in a small footprint with our FIBER FILM Contactor, these systems handle varying concentrations and flow rates with ease.
AMINEX systems remove high concentrations of H2S along with CO2 using all common amine types and blends.
THIOLEX is best for treating streams with low CO2 content.
